What led you to become a surrogate?
This is my first time being a surrogate and I’ve always had big dreams of being a mom. My favorite thing in life is being a mom, so I wanted to help another woman with that same dream.
What made you decide to choose Dream Surrogacy?
My cousin previously was a surrogate and she told me how amazing Christina was with her surrogates.
What is the relationship like with your intended parent(s)?
My intended parents are amazing, the communication between them helps with the pregnancy.
What are some high points of your journey?
I enjoyed the growth and seeing how excited the mom and dad were about their bundle of joy.
What advice do you give to others who want to become a gestational surrogate?
I say go for it! Everyone always says “I’ll become attached to baby”. Your brain is an amazing tool! It knows it’s not your baby but your helping give a life! The love you see in the parents eyes is worth every moment!
What did you do to prepare yourself for surrogacy?
I talked with family and gained support and explained to them it wasn’t my baby but a miracle baby for another family. At first they didn’t understand that it had no DNA of mine and was solely the parents!
How has your decision to become a surrogate impacted your life?
It has been amazing, I am over joyed I was able to help support this babies growth and give the parents the wonderful gift of life.
